Home Construction & Design is replacing the original single-story house with two detached, 3,500± sq ft custom homes — 1585 and 1587 San Bernardino Place — each with its own garage and parking. Full exterior, interior, and aerial renderings are complete; plans are working through the City of Costa Mesa now.

Home Construction & Design is building two custom homes on neighboring lots, planned together and built by one team from design through delivery. Each is a full 3,500± sq ft two-story home with its own entry, yard, and two-car garage.

From one house to two custom homes
Design & renderings — done. We started with the original single-story house on San Bernardino Place and designed two detached 3,500± sq ft custom homes for the two contiguous lots, each with its own two-car garage. Exterior, interior, aerial, and 3D floor-plan renderings are finished for both.
Plans & permits — in progress. Building plans for both homes are moving through the City of Costa Mesa.
What's next. Once permits are issued, the original house comes down, the site is prepped, and foundations go in for both homes, followed by framing, MEP, and finishes.
